Friday morning at the market
One of our favourite ways to start the weekend is a stroll through Eygalières’ Friday morning market. Pick up fresh fruit and vegetables, local cheeses, olives, bread and Provençal specialities before stopping for a coffee in the village.
Our tip: Arrive early, take your time and bring a basket — you’ll almost certainly find something you want to take back to the villa.
A day out: Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
Just a short drive from Eygalières, Saint-Rémy is perfect for a leisurely day out.
Explore its historic streets, browse independent boutiques and galleries, stop for lunch on a shaded terrace and enjoy the atmosphere of one of the Alpilles’ most beautiful towns.
